What Information We Process and Why
We process your information to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, comply with applicable laws, and to achieve our legitimate business interests. The legitimate interests are providing our services, preventing fraud and securing the Handball Vortex platform, and improving the Handball Vortex platform and the services/products we offer.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and we urge our users not to share such data. We do not knowingly process personal data from persons under the age of 18. If you become aware of a child sharing their data, please contact us so we can delete such data.
How we store and secure the information we process
Handball Vortex is very concerned with safeguarding your information. When you enter personal information (such as credit card) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). With processors
When we share your information with processors outside the EEA, we have – prior to sharing your information with such corporate affiliate or third party service provider – established the necessary means to ensure an adequate level of data protection. This is done via agreements on the basis of the EU Model Clauses (a set of clauses issued by the European Commission). We will provide further information on the means to ensure an adequate level of data protection on request.
Handball Vortex cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal processes (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of Handball Vortex or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be or to pose a risk of being, any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.
We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, and other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.
How long we retain your data
We will retain your information as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide you with the Services or Product, or as otherwise set forth in this Policy. We will also retain and use this information as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect Handball Vortex’s legal rights.

How to control your information
You have rights to your own data and can request to have your information provided to you, changed, or erased. If you think that any of the information we have on you is incorrect for any reason, please notify our Team or Data Protection Officer to have it corrected. If you would like us to provide you with any or all data we have processed about you, please send a written request to [email protected] and we will provide you with the information within 30 days. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Supervisory Authority.

Please note that while your data will be anonymized and not used on the platform any longer, some information that we are required to keep for tax purposes will be kept. Furthermore, we may keep some of your data, such as your name or email to ensure we no longer contact you.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information if it is processed on the basis of a business’ legitimate interest. If you object to such processing, Handball Vortex will no longer process your personal information for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for such processing, or if such processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Please note however that this may lead to difficulties in accessing some or all of our Services.
International transfers of data
We collect data globally and primarily store that information in the United States. Handball Vortex does not knowingly or intentionally collect or process sensitive data (as defined in Art. 9 of the GDPR, namely: personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation). We urge our Users not to share sensitive personal data about themselves or others over the Handball Vortex platform. However, we are aware that some Users may divulge sensitive information about themselves. If we do come across such data, it will not be processed in any way by Handball Vortex. We will use reasonable means to detect and remove such data.
